ValutaPartners B.V. (“ValutaPartners”, “we”, “our”) processes data, including personal data, of clients who make use of the services provided by ValutaPartners B.V. This is a privacy statement that describes how we collect, control, and process the data of our clients in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). We comply with the rules of the GDPR in all our activities.

Where we store your personal data

The data we collect about you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). We use various cloud data processors.

All information you provide to us is stored under our control and that of Currencycloud. All payment transactions are encrypted. If Currencycloud has provided you with a password (or if you have chosen one) that enables you to access certain parts of the Currencycloud website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our sites; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we use strict procedures and security features to prevent unauthorized access.

If you have specific concerns about a method of data transfer, we will take all reasonable steps to provide an alternative.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data free of charge, to know whether it is transferred to a third country or international organization, and to know the associated safeguards.

If you do not wish to receive emails from us, you can unsubscribe via info@valutapartners.nl. Please note that for certain communications, ValutaPartners and Currencycloud are required to inform you, such as changes to agreements, and you cannot unsubscribe from these messages as long as you are a client of ValutaPartners and Currencycloud.

Retention of your data

The period for which we retain your data depends on the legal retention periods we must comply with. In accordance with Currencycloud’s policy and relevant regulations, we generally retain your data for a period of five years after the end of the client relationship.After this period, your personal data will be securely deleted, unless it is still needed for contract execution, legal obligations, or ongoing disputes.
