A spot transaction is the most straightforward form of international payment. In this transaction, you convert one currency into another at the current exchange rate (also known as the "spot rate").
After you agree to the exchange rate, we will execute the global payment for you at lightning speed.
What is a spot transaction?
Een spottransactie is een financiële transactie waarbij twee valuta’s worden verhandeld tegen een actuele wisselkoers op dat moment. Het is een overeenkomst waarbij de koper en verkoper afspreken om de valuta’s op de spotdatum te verhandelen en af te rekenen, wat doorgaans twee werkdagen na de transactiedatum is. A direct connection to the currency market allows for real-time trading with sharp and transparent exchange rates and with a fixed margin. After agreeing on the exchange rate, you transfer your money from your own bank to your account with us. Once this money is received in your account, we make the payment on your behalf. The beneficiary often receives the international payment on the same day.

The Indian Rupee (INR), Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), Malaysian Ringgit (MYR), and Philippine Peso (PHP) are restricted currencies. You cannot directly finance these currencies. They can only be purchased by converting from another supported currency and can only be sold back in exceptional situations. More information on this can be found here.
